The house is positioned so close to the lake that you can hear the waves lapping and watch the boats zipping past. Guests love being only a 15-minute flat stroll away from central Queenstown. At the bottom of the private driveway the popular Frankton Walkway track begins – fantastic for running, biking or walking.

Please be aware that there are earthworks scheduled at a neighbouring property; the work is scheduled to commence mid-March and expected to be completed by the end of May 2020. While work is underway, there may be some noise disturbance during business hours. However, no work is permitted outside of business hours. The nightly rates have been discounted to reflect this.

Living Areas: Centered around an extra-large feature window, when you are sitting on the couches you feel like you’re on the water. A grand gas fireplace sits between the living, dining and kitchen, so that the warmth and ambience can be enjoyed from all areas. Natural light pours into the main level of the house, with incredibly high ceilings, windows and sliding doors also providing excellent indoor-outdoor flow. Bright open plan flow from the living area, dining and kitchen. There is a separate media room at the top of the house with a 65-inch curved Smart TV with SKY channels including movies and sports.
Kitchen and Dining: Fully-equipped large kitchen with stunning quartz benchtop, induction hobs, brand new appliances, complete with a coffee machine.
The Great Outdoors: Four separate outdoor areas to take in the different views and amenities. Indulge in your own private spa pool or have an après ski with friends around the outdoor gas fire, sheltered from the wind at the back of the property. Dine late into the evening on the sunny lake facing deck; the table has seating for 10 and the sun doesn’t set until 10pm in the height of summer. The main deck of the house is accessed from the kitchen and the living room and has a true “wow” factor for showcasing the alpine setting.

"Great property but the real standout is the company managing it. This property suited our group of nine perfectly with just the right amount of bedrooms and bathrooms. The company managing this property were the best we have ever experienced with every minor issue taken care of efficiently and without fuss. The views from most rooms are stunning and changed hour by hour. The only issue we had was the building works happening a few doors down which meant the already tight drive was narrowed by building trucks, this is obviously a short term problem. If we owned the property we would have an outside table and chairs on the stunning central deck. It would have got a lot of use. The outside table on the other side did not get used though we did take advantage of the outside seating next to the outside gas fire. We will return!!!"

"What a truly wonderful home. It was just what we needed to relax and unwind after the hectic week leading up to our daughter's beautiful wedding in Queenstown. The home is stunning and had plenty of room to accommodate all 8 adults (2 lucky singles got a room all to themselves), including the newly weds who chose to stay the week. The sauna was just what was needed after frosty days out and though it was a little too cold for the jacuzzi it was very clean and well maintained. The home has enough privacy for those who wanted quiet, and enough space for the get togethers and entertaining. Everything was spotless and clean. Apart from the groceries and wines we had no need for anything else and were more than happy to sit in front of the beautiful fireplace at night and recap our daily activities or lounge in the media room with a good movie. Would highly recommend Lakehouse Joela and would definitely stay again"
